MICHAELAS ALLOTMENT HUT
In Denmark, the first allotment gardens were created as early as in 1655 but the concept didn’t become widely used until the end of the 1800s. Allotment gardens were set up outside the big, industrial towns the workers needed a place to stock up on air and light, and to grow vegetables. Already then, an allotment garden was a beloved oasis for town people.
Michaela took over her mother’s allotment hut 3 years ago and it’s turned into her paradise where she can recharge and relax. Her big passion is growing organic vegetables and flowers, and that’s a perfect match when you own an allotment garden.
